Comprehensive Therapy Services
Gillette Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation offers on-site, comprehensive therapy services 7 days a week. Our recently renovated therapy room, coupled with our highly skilled therapy team, provides individualized rehabilitation that produces results. Whether you are recovering from orthopedic surgery, an injury, or an illness, our goal is to work with you to help you recover and return home as quickly as possible. Our rehabilitation services include:
- Physical Therapy, with specialized Cardiac and Pulmonary Programs
- Occupational Therapy, with a focus on independent skills, as well as home management skills
- Speech Therapy, including an innovative Mind Program for cognitive rehabilitation
The Care Communication Smartphone App
Most recently, we established the Care Communication Program to make it easy for family members to communicate directly with the therapy team. This secure site is a smartphone app that works on any mobile device and enables family members to ask questions and receive feedback directly from the therapists. Family members will also receive a text message with an update once a week.
The Up and Go Program
Once you have successfully completed your individualized therapy program, your discharge will be coordinated with therapy, social services, nursing and your physician. With the Up and Go Program, we work as a team to ensure a safe discharge home. Included in this plan are a customized discharge checklist, a home safety assessment, a caregiver training sheet and a personalized goal sheet. We also work with families on caregiver training and home safety before discharge.
